This page describes exactly what this website stores in your browser and which tracking technologies are in use. We keep this list honest — if a tool isn't listed here, it isn't running.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY USE

This site relies mainly on browser storage (localStorage/IndexedDB), not traditional tracking cookies. Here's what's stored and why:

  • Cart contents — so your cart survives a page refresh (essential)
  • Sign-in session — Firebase Authentication keeps you logged in (essential)
  • Wishlist & recently viewed — saved locally for your convenience
  • Event log — a local record of shop events (views, add-to-cart) used for debugging; it stays in your browser
  • Tracking opt-out flag — remembers if you've turned analytics off

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

  • PayPal — when you check out, PayPal may set its own cookies inside its payment window for fraud prevention and session security. These are governed by PayPal's own privacy policy.
  • Google (Firebase) — authentication and order storage run on Google's Firebase platform.
  • Google Fonts — font files are loaded from Google's CDN, which may log standard request data (IP address, user agent).

FIRST-PARTY ANALYTICS

The site records basic browsing events — page views, product views, searches, add-to-cart, and checkout starts — into our own database. This powers our internal statistics (like which products are viewed most). These events do not include your name, email, or address, and they are never sent to third-party analytics or advertising companies.

THIRD-PARTY ANALYTICS & ADVERTISING — CURRENTLY OFF

The site is built to support Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, and Google Ads — but none of them are enabled right now. No third-party analytics or advertising cookies are set, and no browsing data is sent to any external provider.

If we enable them in the future, they would be used to understand how visitors use the site and to measure advertising. This page will be updated before that happens.

YOUR CONTROLS

When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics — you can change your mind here at any time. The setting takes effect immediately and is stored in your browser — it stops analytics events from being recorded and prevents any third-party tracking scripts from loading or receiving events. Essential storage (cart, sign-in) is not affected.

You can also clear everything this site stores by clearing your browser's site data. Essential storage (cart, sign-in) cannot be opted out of while using the shop — clearing it simply resets your cart and signs you out.

DO NOT SELL / SHARE

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Because nothing is sold or shared in that sense, there is no "sale" to opt out of — the tracking control above covers analytics and advertising.
